Thomas and Emily in the Fire Truck at the Great Falls Village Halloween Celebration.
I'll try and put the pictures up tomorrow. Thomas and Emily wore their costumes to an evening story time at the library. Emily, CJ, and I went to a Halloween playgroup where Emily was a ballerina. Lastly, on Halloween, Emily went to three different places to trick-or-treat. Toys R Us where she met her friend Nathan and Thomas. They had a parade with Geoffrey the Giraffe. We went trick or treating at Great Falls Village and then Chris took Emily to the Hamlet. He said toward the end she would walk up to the door and drop the bag and kind of sigh. When he got home he realized why...in all she got over 8 lbs of candy. Quite a load for a four year old. Like I said, what good are holidays if you can only celebrate it for one day? Plus, I didn't have to buy any candy for her. If only Christmas worked the same way...hmmm....send your kids out door to door and see what they come home with. I mean don't we all have enough "extra" junk/stuff we could pass on?

8 pounds of candy?! That is as much as both my kids weight at birth! I like your idea of trick or treating for Christmas.
Liz, I started my own blog. Check it out when you have a chance. www.nowlandfarm.blogspot.com
