8 is Great!!!

 

What a wonderful way to celebrate being 8.  Here is the family on Emily's baptism day.  We are so happy so many friends and family could make it.  

Here is a picture of the (almost) 8 year old riding the waves in North Carolina.  She got to celebrate her birthday there with some of her cousins.

Taken a ride on an elephant?  This is last year in Natural Bridge.  What a fun time.  It's very bumpy.

It's official

He "learned" how to ride in Nevada.  But after he fell a few times he wanted to go sooo slow.  We decided for everyone safety and sanity to put the training wheels back on.  This is for Ben and Lucy to see that CJ is really riding now, even starting.

Here we are before going in for our round of laser tag.  I have to say it was a lot of fun to watch the kids run around and shoot each other.  Often the girls were trying to shoot each other even though they were on the same team.  We had a fun day with the Zimmerman's at Planet Play.  We all had such a blast.  Thank you Zimmermans.  We miss you guys.

On our way to the Owl Club, Family Dining.  Emily wanted to go there so bad.  The pizza was pretty good.  The kids managed to polish off a large pepperoni pizza by themselves!  We loved our trip out west.  Can't wait to see you guys again.

Let's Ride

This is how we spent most of our days.  These hoodlums were seen up and down the streets of Battle Mountain day in and day out.  We rode to the pool, the library, the parks, Maverik, even church one Sunday.  By the end of our wonderful trip CJ's training wheels had come off.  It seems as though all I heard throughout the day was, "Can we go for a bike ride?"  If Annie was awake and wanting to go (which she pretty much always did) I'd strap her in the Bjorn and she'd ride with me.  What a sight we must have been.  I kept thinking to myself "GOONIES!"

Race Time!

The kids ran a 1k in Murray.  CJ was SO excited.  He was so focused and determined.  The second photo was at the start line.  The starter of the race had just yelled "Are you guys ready to go?"  CJ heard the word go and took off.  Notice all the other kids are cheering.  I just love this boy.

I love my baby!  One year flew by.  This was during the winter.  Annie is such a great baby and full of personality.  We love her so much.

I capture these moments out of gratitude.  I love our life.  I love when the kids play nicely and I have a few minutes to myself.  Instead of stopping to smell the roses I stop to photograph the kids.

blankie

All of my kids have loved their blankies.  Emily had her pink bunny.  CJ had his giraffe.  Annie is a whole lot less picky.  She loves any blankie (or scarf or sweatshirt...you get the idea).  I love a little baby and a blankie!
