We have already begun to enjoy ourselves here in Virginia...especially spending time with family. On the 9th, 10th and 11th we went camping at Lake Fairfax which is only about fifteen minutes away. While it was not in the mountains like we are used to, it was quite enjoyable for all of us. We went with Liz's sister and her family. On Thursday night Chris made the best foil dinners ever! (garlic and herb chicken with carrots and onions, and french onion roasted potatoes). He made breakfast the next day as well, bacon and pancakes. Oh yeah, he did this all over a wood fire! On Friday we went to a small water park at Lake Fairfax with the kids. While the kids were sleeping Chris and Jared went "fishing" in the lake and its tributaries. Mimi (Liz's sister) and Jared (Mimi's husband) made dinner that night and breakfast the following morning. In all it was a great trip, we hope to have some pictures up soon so you all can see what a good time we had.

Sounds like it was fun - Joe and Jase went camping with Paul and Ashton Saturday - they had lots of fun too!
