On Saturday our ward had an Egg hunt at the church. Here's a picture of Chris and Christopher and Emily. It was really fun, they had crafts and activities and food.
We had a nice Easter Sunday. It was my first time back to church. We stayed for the first two hours. Here's my attempt at a "family Easter photo". The camera was in the car and got all foggy when we took it inside. But aren't my boys hot stuff in their church outfits? We decided to wait until after church for Easter baskets. Emily wasted no time in finding hers. Last year she discovered that if she shook the eggs she could figure out what was in each one. She prefers chocolate to jelly beans.
So if she hears a "thunk" instead of a "rattle" she knows it's good stuff. We also hid a basket for CJ, too bad someone has to eat all his candy for him. We had a nice ham dinner cooked by my brother and then we went to my sister's house for the big Easter Egg Hunt. The kids all had a blast. It was a little chilly but we took CJ out to get in on the action. And of course Grandma had her money egg hunt. She puts money in the eggs and hides them. Mostly it's pennies, nickels, dimes,
and quarters. This year there were also a few Chuck E Cheese tokens. She also hides paper money. There were two "golden" eggs this year each containing $20. I found one and was the big winner. Happy Easter.
